Mypoints Gives Great Rewards!

A few years back I joined this gem call Mypoints through another program. I forgot about it for awhile as I really didn't spend a lot of time on the internet at that time. Last year, I started using the program in earnest and I have reaped the rewards.

Yesterday, I checked the mail and what did I find inside? The Walmart giftcard that I had ordered only a week ago from Mypoints. This is a fantastic program where you get points to shop with their partners, read emails and take occasional surveys. You can turn these points in for gift cards to your favorite stores and restaurants. I have received several great rewards from them including:

$20 Bath and Body gift card
$10 Walmart gift card
$25 Old Navy gift card

I am well on my way to receiving another gift card soon. I absolutely love the program. It is easy to earn and they always send out rewards in a timely manner. I have never had any problems with redemptions and usually receive them in a week and a half or less.

If you are not already a member visit http://www.mypoints.com and join today!

Offline Reward Programs Rock Too!

I know this site is supposed to be all about online opportunities to make money and get free stuff, but I just had to take a moment to recommend joining some offline reward programs too. I love to get rewarded, especially if it doesn't take any extra energy on my part.

Most department stores have some kind of frequent buyer club, find out if they have one for what you buy a lot of. For example, JCPenneys and Elder Beerman have lingerie clubs, once you buy a certain number of bras/panties you get 1 for free. These items get expensive and it is a great savings if you can get them free every once in awhile. Ask for a punch card the next time you are in these stores.

Most chain gas stations now offer discount/rewards cards. My gas station of choice offers 5 cents off per gallon using this card every couple of months. When gas is over $3 per gallon every penny counts. Also, it automatically enters my information for all of their frequent buyer clubs. For instance, when I buy 6 fountain pops my 7th one is free. I also get points for every purchase which can be turned in for merchandise including everything from coffee to a gift card to Applebee's.

Another offline reward program to check out? Your bank or credit card issuer. My bank offers a point reward program. For every dollar in purchases I make with my debit card, I receive 2 points. I get 25 points for writing a check and bonus points for paying bills online. These points can be turned in for various things like gift cards, merchandise, and even cash. I am going to make purchases and pay bills anyway so why not get something back?

These are just some of the fantastic ways to get free stuff offline. I have gotten a lot of free merchandise from these various programs and they are definitely worth checking out. No opportunity to get something for free should ever be overlooked.

Here are a few more freebies I found on Morafreebies today. These offers are completely free all you have to do is give them your address so they can mail them too you.

Balzac French Roast Coffee
Maybelline Foundation

If you haven't yet joined Morafreebies, I would strongly recommend it.

Mora Sites are the BEST!!

I have been a member of three of the Mora family of sites since August and one since September. They are some of the best sites I have come across for accumulating money quickly and the administrator is the greatest. The sites are as follows:

MoraTraffic

MORATRAFFIC
Get paid to sign up for offers, read emails, take surveys, and visit websites. The payout on this site is a very low $5 and in three months I have never had trouble making this. I have been paid twice through Paypal.

September payment: $5.56 ( I made this in just under 2 weeks, only doing emails)
October payment: $9.98
November payment: (haven't received yet, but I am over payout amount)

MORACHAT

This is a great paid to post forum. Get paid to post on your favorite topics like TV shows, crafting, or the weather. Payout is at $9 through Paypal. After you join you will realize that the $9 is very easy to achieve because it is addicting! Click the link below to join!

MORASURFING

This site is a manual surf program where you get credits for viewing websites for 20 seconds each. Each credit equals 1 cent and you can cash out at $10.00 through Paypal. The site is fairly new so no one has cashed out yet, but as I stated before the administrator is the best and I would not hesitate to recommend his sites to anyone looking to make money online. If you are interested in joining click below!

MORAFREEBIES

Morafreebies is a site where people post great freebies such as store codes, coupons, and samples that they have found on the net. You can also post your own freebies that you have found. For each freebie that you post, you will receive points that you can trade in for gift cards and merchandise. So not only are you getting freebies and saving money, you are also working on getting great rewards. The link is below and a list of some of the currently available freebies is in an earlier post. This one is definitely worth checking out!

The owner of these sites has also opened a new site called www.mymoviecash.com where you get paid to sign up for offers and also earn points that you can turn in for free DVDs. I am not yet a member of this site but I have heard from other members that it is great fun. Check it out!

The thing about the Mora family of sites is that it is just that, a family. If you join one Mora site you will eventually join them all. They are fantastic and operated well.

Quick Rewards is AWESOME!

Quickrewards offers exactly that, quick rewards. Members earn cash and points for shopping, reading emails, signing up for offers, completing daily and hourly clicks, and so much more. This site is well established and has been around for a few years. They even encourage you to cash out as soon as you do your first clicks, just so they can prove to you that they do pay.

As a side note: I cashed out for $6.00 on 11/30/07 and was paid a few hours later.

I am giving this site a big thumbs up! I encourage everyone to join this site ASAP!

Survey sites that you shouldn't waste your time on

I have become a member of several survey sites over the years. Some I will recommend and others I will not. With so many legitimate opportunities out there, why waste your time on something that just takes up your time and gives you no returns? Below is a list of survey sites I would not recommend.

MyView

MyView is an invitation only survey site that I became a member of a while back. I don't remember exactly how I got the invitation, but I started taking surveys for them about a year ago.
I have since completed several surveys, but I have only been paid for one. The biggest problem is that it took almost two months to be credited for that one survey. I don't have time to wait two months to be paid.

I will have to give MyView a thumbs down. I cannot recommend them to anyone and I will be canceling my account with them.

Survey Club

While I will say that you can make a great amount of money with this program, you can only make that money if you are willing to sign up for trial offers of programs such as blockbuster, netflix, or video professor. I take surveys to make money, I don't think that requiring you to sign up for another program that COSTS you money, should be part of the deal.

Mindfield Online

In the 2 years I have been a member of this site, I have not been able to qualify for a single survey. I have only received minimal survey invitations from this site also. I have just recently deleted my account with them.

Testspin

I have only been a member of this site for a few months but, I have never been able to get past the screening questions on any surveys that they have sent. I would not recommend this site if you are hoping to make money.

While none of these sites are scams, I would not recommend spending your time on them. Your time is important so you should get rewarded for it.

Hello All!

I have been a member of GPT (get paid to) sites since before they were cool. Recently I realized that I was a member of so many that I had lost track of them, so I decided to get organized. At the beginning of this month I created a spreadsheet in order to track my earnings, to see which ones are making me money, and which ones are not. I have tweaked my list a few times deleting accounts that weren't going anywhere and adding new programs that were recommended by friends.

In coming posts, as my experiment continues, I will share with you what is working, what is not, and how to get free stuff simply by giving up an hour or so of time every week.

I will be getting my month end totals next week and I will post them here.
