My Coke Rewards

I drink Diet Coke- a lot of it- so when they came up with My Coke Rewards a few years back I figure I might as well get rewarded for something I do anyway.  So far, in 3 years I have gotten several free 12 packs, tons of branded clothing, Subway gift cards and 3 Nike Gift cards in various denominations.

I just turned in 1400 points for a $35 Nike gift card that I used to buy my new summer sandals.  The total cost with shipping was $38.16.  I paid $3.16 out of pocket- an amount that came from doing a survey a few days ago! Awesome!

You too can get free products. All you need to do is put in your Coke rewards codes at mycokerewards.com! It takes a few seconds once a week to input codes and the rewards are AMAZING!

Getting free stuff is easy! PART 1

Scoring free items from laundry soap to movie tickets or that pair of Nike's you want, is easier than you might think.

First, I recommend signing up for an email address that is strictly for sweeps, coupons and freebies.  You can get one of these FREE from Hotmail, Yahoo, or Google.

Second, make a list of your favorite stores and restaurants and if you haven't already, sign up on their email or snail mail lists.  They will send you discounts and free items throughout the year. As an example, just for being on Kohl's mailing list I received a $10 off any purchase of $10 or more coupon in the mail yesterday.  Awesome! That's a couple of tanks for the summer!  Plus the whole month of June, my birthday month, is a dining out free for all!

Another way stores reward you is by  giving you a rewards card where you receive points for every purchase you make.  I have one of these cards for several stores. Kroger offers points that are transferable for cents of gas purchases. We can all use 10 to 50 cents off a gallon of gas these days!

Third, find out if  your bank or credit cards offer points programs.  PNC offers a program where you get points for purchases made using your debit card, checks or credit card.  These points can be exchanged for gift cards, merchandise or cash back!

These are just a few ways to get free stuff that require no work on your part. All you have to do is sign up and then shop like you normally would! Keep an eye out for PART 2, coming soon.......

We are BACK!

After taking a long and unexpected hiatus from this blog I am back and ready to get down to business! I am looking forward to sharing my money making and freebie scoring with everyone again.  Just today I cashed out $40 from Synovate Surveys and $30 from Send Earnings.   This $70 will be going to pay for a hotel room for my BFF's wedding weekend.  I love not having to pay this expense out of my own pocket money! I also traded in 2000 points on Zoom Panel for a new Micro SD memory card for my Blackberry since my old one crashed and burned about a month ago.

I will be getting my list of survey and other money making sites listed soon as well as updating my earnings on each.

I look forward to renewing this experiment as I try to pay off my debt this year.  This is what I am hoping to accomplish in 2010:

Pay off IRS bill of $1500
Pay off Dentist bill of $100
Pay off Credit Card of $1000
Pay for hotel, food, and extras @ friend's wedding $300
Pay off car insurance bill of $650

I am hoping to do this in 6 months or less and have figured out that I need an extra $22 a day or $154 a week in order to do this. Stay tuned for updates..........
